Bills Trade $22M Wide Receiver to Buffalo

The Buffalo Bills parted connections with some veterans and added several new wide receivers for Josh Allen in free agency and the NFL Draft this offseason.

One source suggests the Bills could deal for a rival wide receiver in late July.

Alex Ballentine of Bleacher Report offered one trade for all 32 NFL teams,

including moving Miami Dolphins wide receiver Cedrick Wilson Jr. to the Bills.

Wilson received a $22.1-million contract from the Dolphins in free agency, but Ballentine thinks Buffalo may give him a fresh start.

After adding Tyreek Hill, Ballentine said Wilson became a “afterthought” for the Dolphins, which might make him trade bait in 2023. Ballentine reported that Wilson caught 12 passes for 136 yards last season and is unlikely to play more.

“Wilson just doesn't fit in with the Dolphins offense, and it's hard to see him returning to his 2021 form when he had 45 receptions for 602 yards and six touchdowns,” Bleacher Report wrote.

Ballentine advised Wilson start over in Buffalo, where he might reunite with Bills wide receivers coach Adam Henry, who worked with Wilson on the Dallas Cowboys.
