The Browns' $60 million All-Pro was carted off the field against the Bengals.
The Cleveland Browns lost starting right tackle Jack Conklin early in the second quarter against the Cincinnati Bengals, with the former Pro Bowler being taken off the field.
Conklin connected with Bengals defensive end Trey Hendrickson, who slid into his leg at the conclusion of a pass-block snap.
The Browns believed he could keep the right tackle post for the foreseeable future.
"Cleveland will be my home forever," Conklin declared after signing the contract. "Of course, I'd like to stay here for the rest of my career."
We'll see what occurs and how things go. This is clearly the place I want to be."
Conklin, on the other hand, has had a difficult injury history. Over the last two seasons, he has missed 13 games, including a catastrophic torn patellar tendon in 2021.
