With Oda's message, Netflix confirms One Piece Live-Action Season 2.

By officially announcing the show's renewal for a second season, Netflix has finally complied with the overwhelming wishes of One Piece anime fans.

After the series' spectacular Netflix debut in late August, viewership for the show reached its peak on the streaming giant.

One Piece's brilliant creator Eiichiro Oda expressed his sincere gratitude to the show's devoted fans throughout the world in a video made available by Netflix.

He declared, "My work on ["One Piece"] with Netflix and Tomorrow Studios has been a labor of love. Two weeks after it had debuted, I got some exciting information. A new season has been approved by Netflix.

Although fans should be happy about this renewal, it's crucial to remember that they must be patient.

Oda revealed that the thorough writing of the scripts for the upcoming season will take a lot of time.

Unfortunately, the ongoing labor problems in Hollywood have made things more difficult.

Notably, writers for Netflix projects like One Piece are now affected by strikes by the Writers Guild of America (WGA) and the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA).
